Rudd’s $100 million disability plan slammed

The Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd, has announced that one hundred million dollars will be injected into accommodation for the disabled. It’s hoped that this move will help older carers of the disabled plan for the future, when they are no longer able to provide support. The money will provide thirty-five new facilities, accommodating up to six people each. But carer groups and members of the disabled community say this is just not enough.
