Rhoda Roberts is a creative powerhouse. On the UN International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples, the Widjabul Woman sees a lot to be inspired by in Aboriginal arts and culture.

In 2012 she was appointed Head of Indigenous Programming at the Sydney Opera House, and this year she received the Order of Australia for distinguished service to the performing arts, leadership, advocacy, and promotion of contemporary Indigenous stories and culture.

We caught up with Rhoda to chat about her new podcast, Deadly Voices from the House, and to find out why she sees the arts as such a vital platform for change.
