For the first time in 14 years, a Foreign Policy White Paper has been published to address the rapidly changing global landscape.

With the aim of providing a long-term view of Australia’s future foreign relations, the paper emphasises the need for efforts in diplomacy, trade and defence.

However, foreign aid continues to earn less and less consideration, stirring frustration amongst many charitable organisations.
