The Republican National Convention is underway in Tampa Bay, Florida. The convention serves as the official nomination party for Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney. The Wire spoke to Research Associate Professor at Sydney University Nicole Hemmer who is at the convention. Americans will decided who will be their next president on November 6th. In the lead up to the election both the Democrats and the Republicans will hold national conventions in which they will officially nominate their respective candidates.Republican challenger Mitt Romney introduced by none other than Clint Eastwood took to the stage to  accept the nomination.In his speech he vowed to improve the economy and create jobs and accused  President Obama delivering  “disappointment and division.”
