Report reveals increase in children receiving protection services

Data released by the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare has revealed an increase in the number of children receiving protection services over the last year.
The number has also seen a greater increase over the last five years period, the report also found those living in regional and remote areas were almost four times more likely to be maltreated than children living in major cities.
