Remote Roebourne sings for peace

This Saturday will see the third performance of Songs for Peace. On the banks of the Harding River songs written by Roebourne community members, young people and inmates from the nearby prison will be sung by leading Indigenous artists. Broome singer-songwriter Naomi Pigram, The Waifs’ Vikki Thorn, and Ngarluma jazz artist Lois Olney, are just a few of those who will perform at the open air event alongside the Roebourne community, under the directorship of Grammy award-winner Lucky Oceans.
