Residents on Queensland’s Palm Island can expect a boost in local jobs. The Federal Government has awarded a grant to the Coolgaree Aboriginal Corperation and two other organisations, as part of the new $1.5 billion Remote Jobs and Communities Program. The funding will work towards providing indigenous people with community based training and local opportunities.
