Remote Indigenous health gets boost from urban medicos

Improvements in health care for remote indigenous communities were overshadowed last week by reports of substandard housing in Ampilatwatja (Umbladawatch), a community 325 km north east of Alice Springs. But the Remote Area Health Corps, a health care services provider, says improvements are definitely being made. RAHC, as the organization is known, recently placed their 100th health care professional in the NT.
