Voters in Higgins are calling on the major parties to change punitive policies on asylum seekers. Higgins is currently held by Kelly O’Dwyer, Minister for Small Business and Asisstant Treasurer and was formerly held by Peter Costello. Over the past two months 184 people have had conversations about refugees, run by the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre as part of their Right Track Campaign.
