Reaching for the stars: Indigenous STEM students land space internship with NASA

Eastern Arrente man David Corporal has earned a placement at NASA, bringing him one giant leap closer to achieving his dream of becoming an astronaut.

The mechanical engineer is among five Indigenous STEM students who will spend 10 weeks at NASA,  learning from leading experts in the field.

David is expecting an increase in the number of flights to the moon, and says his ultimate goal is to secure a seat in a space shuttle.
