World Youth week is set to kick off in just twenty two days, and if an industrial dispute isn’t resolved this Friday, the young pilgrims in Sydney could be going to mass the traditional way- on foot. On the 31st of March this year, the Railcorp Union Collective Agreement expired. Since that time, unions and government have been negotiating a new agreement, with the unions asking for a 5% increase in wages. But the NSW government has set the public servants wage increase at half of that.
