Close to half of Indigenous carers and parents report that either they, or their families, have experienced racism at some stage. Of particular concern, is the racism that is occurring in schools. While governments have been focusing on getting kids into schools, research shows that the discrimination they face in the class room and playground is doing them real damage for life.
