A group of Western Quolls were released in the Flinders Ranges in South Australia this Tuesday, as part of a trial reintroduction project. It is hoped that reintroducing the quoll to part of its previous habitat will have benefits for the whole ecosystem. The quoll also has special cultural significance for Adnyamathanha people, who know it as Idnya.
