Queensland now has its first female premier – she’s also the only current one in Australia and only the third ever. As predicted, Anna Bligh was today elected unopposed by the Labor caucus. The Wire spoke with the Queensland’s only senate candidate for the political party, “What women want”, Anne Bousfield earlier today about Bligh’s appointment.
