Queensland flood inquiry recommends more communication and lower dam levels

An inquiry into the summer flood disasters in Queensland has called for dam levels to be lowered and more training for emergency services. Queensland Premier, Anna Bligh today received the findings from the Floods Commission, ahead of the next wet season. Local Queensland governments have welcomed the recommendations, but some are questioning why it took so long in the first place.
