Qatar is not a country that Westerners tend to get that much of an insight into. But the Asian Games are currently being held there, giving foreign media n opportunity to explore the oil-rich country, which has been through an enormous development boom in recent years. One of the members of the foreign press corp current in Qatar is The Wire’s very own, Stephanie Raison, she’s currently in the capital Doha working on the Asian games and she joined us on the line.
