The Wilderness Society hasn’t got seriously involved in an election campaign since 1991 but this time they’ve decided to commit whatever it takes to get the Tasmanian issue of old-growth forest logging onto the national agenda. Forests campaigner Sean Cadman says thye’ll be running television and print ads and campaigning in marginal seats around the country in an attempt to get the major parties to make thier position on the issue clear.
