A great idea from an ex Nurse is getting surplus equipment from Sydney hospitals to Northern Territory Health centres and PNG clinics.
The Medical Repurposing Network was set up by Wayne Leathem to make use of superseded medical equipment from big Sydney Hospitals that still had a useful life for more remote clinics who have a great need for equipment of all types. Many businesses and organisations also donate their services to get this equipment to where it is needed most.
