The protesters are pursuing inconsistencies in the reporting of donations and permission procedures used by AGL and the NSW government.

One week in and the Gloucester Groundswell continues its silent protest against coal seam mining. The group has received support from around the state with others joining in, and picketing the AGL offices in Sydney. Former mayor Julie Lyford has no intention of stopping the campaign until the government reconsiders it’s decision to allow the mine to continue.
