Protesters in Adelaide had their eyes on Toro Energy today – the company held its Annual General Meeting with members and key stakeholders about its planned uranium exploration near the remote community of Wiluna, in Western Australia.

All the project needs now is the green light from the Federal Government for mining to begin, but various environmental and Aboriginal groups oppose the bid. Pending Federal Government approval, Toro Energy aims to have the Wiluna Project in production by 2013.
