More than 20 former senior public servants and public intellectuals are calling on the Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull to overhaul the way Australia goes to war.

In an open letter they warn Australia is at risk of becoming involved in a major conflict in Korea if diplomatic efforts aren’t stepped up and a full parliamentary debate is had over the merits of involvement.
