The Productivity Commission has released a report on agricultural regulation and is calling on the government to increase the limit at which Foreign Investment Review Board looks at farm sales to overseas investors.

But the Nationals have rejected it and Treasurer Scott Morrison has fallen into line behind them saying the rules were in the national interest.
