A report from The Bureau of Communications and Art Research has found that private support for the arts sector has grown in the past six years within Australia.

Overall, the private sector support, including donations and sponsorship for the arts in Australia is estimated to have grown from $221.1 million to between $268.5 million and $279.8 million over a six year period.

The report details how private sector support for the arts plays an important role in providing a supportive environment in which the arts can thrive.
