The UK has an extensive prison radio network that can reach up to 81,000 listeners, with 45% of prisoners who listen every day. Not only does it provide an outlet for prisoners to produce and listen to, but it can also provide valuable information for those about to re-enter society, and it can help connect prisoners with their friends and loved ones.
