On Sunday night, the north coast of Western Australia was hit by a 6.6 magnitude earthquake, which was followed by more than 30 tremors. Just a few hours later, a 7.3 magnitude earthquake hit near the Maluku Islands in eastern Indonesia. 

They’re not the only earthquakes to happen in this region of seismic activity, so Fire and Rescue have a plan in place to quickly respond to the call of a natural disaster.
