She’s been described as steely and hardworking – current Home Secretary Theresa May has won the first round of voting to secure the leadership of the Conservative Party and is being tipped as the next Prime Minister. Although she voted to Remain her low profile on the issue of whether the UK should leave the EU is less likely to divide an electorate currently stormily divided over the results of the Brexit referendum.
