Policeman to blame for Palm Island death

A Queensland coroner has today found that a police officer kicked an Aboriginal man to death on Palm Island two years ago. The death caused riots at the time and a tense relationship ever since between police and the local indigenous community. Barry Moyle is CEO of the Palm Island Town Council and he says the local community expects today’s decisions to lead to charges being laid.
