Rallies have been held around Australia today in protest over the death of a young man, shot by police  in an altercation on the weekend at the remote community of Yuendemu. The Justice for Walker rallies are supporting the community’s demands. Senior Walpiri man Ned Jmpijinpa Hargreaves says they want  an independent inquiry into the incident to be held on the community. He also questions the need for police to be armed.
