The annual Programme for International Student Assessment  (PISA) results were released, showing a continued decline in Australian students’ reading, maths and science abilities.

Australian students today are almost a year behind in education in a number of areas compared to students over a decade ago according to high-profile PISA testing system.

Experts says Australia’s poor performance is a result of social and economical segregation in our education system.
