The big story this week has been fruit pickers. The news that Australia will import workers from the Pacific Islands has left a lot of people hot under the collar – one of the accusations is that the jobs should have been offered to unemployed Indigenous Australians first. Klynton Wanganeen was a Commissioner with the former ATSIC and is now the South Australian Commissioner for Aboriginal Engagement.
