There’s a light at the end of the tunnel this week for one of the longest running conflicts in the Pacfic region. Mindanao region of the Philippines has long been the site of a violent rebellion, but a new deal lays down a path to peace through the creation of a new autonomous region. But the deal struck between the government and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front still leaves a lot of details to be negotiated.
