With the Federal governments Anti-Terror and Anti-Sedition laws impacting on what journalists, and writers can say, PEN, an international organisation which established its Adelaide chapter last year, today held a meeting outside the Adelaide State Library to promote a freer voice for Australian journalists. The state chapters’ founder Nicholas Jose believes groups such as PEN are pivotal structures for censored journalists to fight against their oppression.
