Overnight a video was released by terrorist group Boko Haram showing some of the hundreds of school girls they stole away from a Nigerian school one month ago. Boko Haram literally means ‘western education is sin’ and the extremist group’s leader is proclaiming that the girls have now been liberated. While some members of the international community have been left feeling helpless at the dire situation in Nigeria, some experts say there is a clear pathway to suppressing the power of organisations like Boko Haram.
