An American comany are marketing a drug testing kit towards parents concerned for their children. By testing a strand of hair, the test – branded, HairConfirm – has been promoted for its ability to detect any drugs present with 99.9% accuracy. But the test has been heavily criticised by experts as an exploitative means to break down trust barriers between parent and child.
