We all know a good conspiracy theory. The moon landing was staged. Princess Diana was assassinated by the British royal family. World leaders are shape-shifting reptilian aliens in disguise. Yet despite these seemingly absurd claims the reasoning of conspiracy theorists might not be so different to the rest of us. What makes a conspiracy theorist tick and when does too much scepticism become dangerous?
