This week has seen an inquest into the death of Kumanjayi Langdon, who died in police custody after being picked up for alleged public drinking. Now the scheme that allowed police to detain him without filing paperwork is under scrutiny. The Wire speaks to Jonathon Hunyor, Principal Legal Officer at the North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency, who is representing Mr Langdon’s family at the inquest.
