This week has seen an amazing public spat in Adelaide between the Premier and members of the SA Parole Board. The board says too little money is being invested in rehabilitation and mental health services for offenders by a Government making much out of ‘tough on crime’ policies. Jay Lamey spoke to Leigh Garrett form the SA Offenders Aid and Rehabilitation Service, who explained the value of these services to people imprisoned for crime.
