It’s very Byron Bay you would think – an organic farm providing its own power with its own single wind turbine. But eco aware Byron residents haven’t embraced the idea at all – in fact they’ve made it quite hard for eco farm organisation ReGenesis to get their turbine up. However the organic farmers have had their way and the turbine will be erected this afternoon by the mayor of Byron Bay – Farm manager Danielle Leonard says the objections to the relatively small turbine were mainly over million dollar views.
