Tomorrow marks the second anniversary of Prime Minister Kevin Rudd’s apology to the Stolen Generation of Australia’s Indigenous population. For many people it was a day welcomed as a new beginning in the Australian history books. But while his heart may have been in the right place, unless actions follow Mr. Rudd is in danger of producing nothing but rhetoric. Professor Peter Buckskin – Co-chair of Reconciliation Australia (S.A.) talks of the two years since the apology, and the future as well.
