Alarming statistics highlighting the level of ignorance about sexual abuse in Australia has prompted child protection agencies to launch a national education campaign. The child protection agency, Child Wise, is using its Speak Up campaign to target those adults who would dismiss abuse claims, warning that child abuse has reached epidemic proportions in Australia.
