One in five young Australians have tried vaping or e-cigarettes

Around 14 percent of Australian children between ages 12 and 17 have tried vaping or have smoked an e-cigarette. Around 63 percent of those encounters have been with friends.
While the Federal government is mandating all liquid nicotine needs to be prescribed by a GP, vapers are exempt and widely available online. According to Smokenders, the Federal government needs to develop policies on vapers to avoid getting in young Australians.
