Resources Minister Martin Ferguson today announced details of the Commission of Inquiry into the ten week oil leak off the WA coast in the Timor Sea. Western Australian Director of the World Wildlife Fund says he welcomes the inquiry but it must address the important questions about the leak and lead to changes in oil and gas exploration in sensitive marine areas. He says even while this leak was going on the same company has been applying for further exploration licences in the area .
