OECD statistics point to urgent Education Revolution

New OECD student assessment results under line the urgent need for greater investment in public education if Australia is to avoid being let behind, that is the warning made by the Australian Education Union today. While students continue to perform at higher than average OECD statistics, the world survey shows Australia is being overtaken by other countries and outperformed in key areas like reading and maths literacy. The Union has called for Australia to urgently implement an Education Revolution of substance through great investment on the governments behalf.
