Oceans are getting more acidic thanks to the carbon dioxide in the environment, according to a research done at the University of Tasmania. The findings say the water chemistry in the ocean near Davis Station has drastically increased in the last 16 years.

The ocean acidification process can be caused in two ways: naturally, or man-made carbon dioxide produce. This process can change the behaviour of marine species, but more research needs to be done.
