Oysters, scallops and clams could become a rarity as ocean acidification threatens the survival of shellfish. As a result coastal communities reliant on shellfish, may soon have to find new food and income sources, says a new report. The report looked at coastal communities in the United States, and found 16 out of 23 regions will have to adapt to rapid acidification.
