You might remember the documentary that was shown on the ABC last year called The Oasis. It was filmed at a youth homeless shelter in Sydney over the course of two years. The film followed Captain Paul Moulds who runs the oasis and his daily battles with youth homelessness. After the documentary was broadcast, there was an enormous amount of media coverage around the issue. The Federal Government announced a White Paper shortly after, which was released in December last year. Interview with Paul Moulds about a new campaign the Oasis youth support network is running and found out what has been gained from the white paper.
