Alex Winwood is an 18-year-old Nyoongar boy from Mandurah in Western Australia. He has big dreams of winning gold for Australia at the Rio Olympics this year, and shortly he’ll face his final shot at qualifying. But there’s one big thing in the way… money. You need money to be a pro-boxer, and to pay for gear, coaching, travel expenses and more. Luckily for the talented young lad, he has his former teacher on his side. She’s launched a fundraising campaign to help Alex reach his goal.
