Meat…you either love it or hate it. Meat lovers are currently partaking in the 2006 World Meat Congress in Brisbane and those that hate it, were uniquely protesting against it, in downtown Brisbane. Protest organiser and Vice President of Animal Liberation Victoria, Noah Hannibal, set the scene for listeners. Fellow animal liberationist, Jamie Yew, best known for her cheeky display against sheep mulesing at this year’s Commonwealth Games, was the ‘meat’ used in today’s protest and she spoke about the experience.
