NT Report Finds mandatory alcohol treatment Ineffective

A report released today by the Northern Territory government into the Alcohol Mandatory Treatment scheme has shown it to be a costly failure.

The report says there is no statistically significant evidence of any long-term benefits for those who have participated, or reductions in alcohol related crime and hospitalisations as a whole.
