NT grapples with drinking problems

Northern Territorians are drinking themselves to death at more than three times the rate of other Australians. That’s according to a study published in the Medical Journal of Australia, which found that 7.5 deaths per 100,000 are alcohol-related. It comes just a week after the NT government announced new measures to address alcohol-related violence in the community.
